THE INSTRUCTOR is
producer/writer/director/actor Charles di Cagno,
whose original one-act, and full length plays
have been performed off-Broadway for the past 15
years. He has also produced and appeared in major
Benefits for Covenant House and The New York
Times Neediest Case Fund.
Over the course of the past 25 years, he has
studied with some of the most influential and
well known drama teachers in the field, including
Stella Adler (Marlon Brando's and Robert DeNiro's
teacher), William Hickey and Michael Beckett,
among others.
He has a B.A. in Speech, an M.S. from Pace
University and was a CTM and Mentor with
Toastmasters International (where he has won
several comedy speech contests), as well as a
graduate of the Dale Carnegie School for Public
Speaking.
He is the Center supervisor and group leader
for Public Speaking and Social Anxiety in
Manhattan, and director of Social Phobia and
Public Speaking Anxiety at The White Plains
Hospital Phobia Clinic. He trained directly under
Dr. Manuel Zane (Your Phobia), founder of the
world renowned Phobia Clinic at White Plains
Hospital and considered one of the leading
experts in phobia therapy.
